Where the Osmo Action stands out is with its wide-aspect rear monitor — which looks surprisingly better than the Hero7’s — and its easy-to-use screw-on filters. The front screen, while not something everyone will need often, also helps differentiate this from the crowd of otherwise similar action cameras. Overall, this is a very capable action camera. We only wish the Mimo app was better.

There were also the occasional very minor stutters with pans of any type when I was playing videos from a USB stick. This could be poor handling of different frame-rate conversion, but it also hints at a rendering engine (i.e., CPU and memory) working at its absolute limits. The effect varied by material and I wouldn’t call it a major issue, just an imperfection you’d expect at this price point. Other signs of somewhat slow processing is the very slow channel search and somewhat laggy channel changes.

You’d be hard pressed to find a better television for $300 than this 43-inch Vizio 4K Smart TV. Like most the other 4K TVs on the market, it also takes standard Full HD material and spins it into 4K for the best possible picture.

The LG C9 might be ultra slim, but thanks to some fairly nifty acoustical research it actually sounds surprisingly good. For a start the TV can improve the quality of its audio by using the One Touch Sound Tuning feature to optimise the settings based on the characteristics of a room.

For a QLED TV, the Q60R doesn’t quite reach the color vibrancy and coverage of Wide Color Gamut color space (DC-P3 percentage) that we expected. It actually underperforms Samsung’s own 2018 QLED TVs by a few points. However, the difference is small and it’s still an incredibly vibrant color performer. It also comes with excellent out-of-the-box color calibration, with plenty of accuracy. In fact, you’d only notice that it underperforms certain 4K HDR TVs such as Samsung’s QLED models or TCL and Vizio’s HDR models at HDR color if you were to put the Q60 next to them in a side-by-side comparison.

Samsung UHD TVs offer sharper and more detailed images with four times more pixels than a Full HD TV. It provides complete access to different online video streaming sites like YouTube, Netflix, and iFlix.
