For these models, you’re paying extra primarily for the industrial design, like an additional $800 for the floating glass look of the 65-inch OLED65E9PUA and several thousand more for the ultra-thin panel-only design and single-wire-attached Dolby Atmos soundbar for the Signature OLEDW9P series (the latest version of the LG Signature OLEDW7P TV we tested two years ago).

In our opinion, the best 55 inch TV comes in the form of the LG OLED55B7, which, in terms of depth, vibrance and quality, offers the picture quality of other OLED screens, but at a slightly more affordable price point. Plus, it makes a complete mockery of similarly priced, high-end LCD models.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 14-inch Notebook was £60 off at £619.99, the Huawei MateBook X Pro 13.9-inch was £200 off at £1,299.99, and the ASUS ZenBook 13 13.3-inch was £200 off at £699.99.

Panasonic has a good name which has been hard-earned and this TV shows why the company has come to be so well regarded. It delivers on all fronts, with superbly accurate pictures, great colours, powerful sound for its slim form factor and solid support for apps. You’ll find the latest 4K and HDR versions of Netflix, Amazon Video and YouTube, not to mention the full range of catch-up apps. The FZ952 supports HDR10, HDR10+ and the BBC and NHK’s HLG, which is the standard for HDR television broadcasting and streaming, and also boasts a great gaming mode which delivers a latency of around 21ms.
