Smart functionality is also good, with a combination of Android TV and Freeview Play offering fast and easy access to all the streaming services you require. You won’t get the most stunning looking picture quality out of this set, but rest assured that if you’re buying a TV on a budget then you could certainly do a lot worse.

Also included in the Samsung TV bundle promo are the 65-inch UHD TV partnered with the Samsung HW-K350 Soundbar for only P59,999. There’s also the Samsung 49-inch UHD TV with the Samsung HW-N300 Soundbar, priced at P34,999.

This 12 core desktop processor has 24 processing threads, 64 PCIe Gen 3 lanes, 32MB of L3 cache, 6MB of L2 cache, and an unlocked multiplier. It has a base clock speed of 3.5GHz, but will turbo to 4.0GHz. It comes with a three year warranty.

I could also actually see that it was dragons fighting in the sky this time around, as opposed to it being Cersei’s long-lost elephants or something. And the level of detail that the 720p upscaling achieved in certain scenes was impressive.

There isn’t a whole lot else to say about the TV from a technical perspective, other than that it has four HDMI slots and two USB connections. You shouldn’t need to use them all, though, as it also has built-in Wi-Fi, which can be used to access a host of leading streaming services, including Google Play Movies, Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube.

Amazon’s Fire 4K TVs are not made by Amazon itself. Instead, three different brands (so far) have opted to use Amazon branding and Amazon’s excellent smart TV platform (along with its Alexa remote control) in their own 4K UHD TVs and label these models as “Amazon Fire” 4K TVs. It’s a workable relationship and what you get when you buy any one of the models currently in existence is a very basic 4K UHD TV in terms of display performance but with a superbly good smart TV platform and remote control features that are premium-good. The Toshiba Amazon Fire 4K UHD TV of 2018 (and into early 2019) is the best of the three existing Amazon Fire 4K UHF TVs, with others from Insignia and Element being priced almost the same but with slightly weaker display performance specs.

It’s the front screen that really sets the Osmo Action apart from other action cameras. The nonstandard aspect ratio is a bit weird but allows you to preview your shot either in letterboxed fashion (with “black bars” on the top and bottom) or in full screen mode with the sides of the video frame cropped off. The screen quality isn’t anything special — you’ll want to use the rear screen whenever possible — but it’s enough to make sure you’ve got the framing you want.

The Shinco 55-inch TV has 2 front firing speakers and it is possible that because of the front firing nature of the speakers, they sound clearer that what we have seen in this price segment. There is a clear channel shift when objects move from left to right or vice versa on screen. This is evident in motorcycle chase sequences or when a plane flies across the screen and during gaming when a firefight ensues.
